Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026

1. Introduction

StackForge Tech respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect on stackforgetech.com and why.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing you haven't asked for.

4. WhatsApp and third-party services

If you contact us via WhatsApp, your communication is also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites' policies.

Form submissions on this site are processed by our own server and delivered to us by email. Our business email is hosted by Zoho Mail, so messages you send us (including form submissions and our replies) are stored in that service. When you submit a form, we send you a confirmation or the content you requested by email; this is a once-off transactional message, not a mailing-list subscription.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) only after you accept them on the cookie banner, to understand which pages are useful and where visitors come from. We anonymise IP addresses, run no advertising cookies, and never sell your data. You can accept, decline, or change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

6. Storage and security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

7. Your rights

Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

8. International visitors (GDPR and others)

We're based in South Africa and serve clients worldwide. If you're in the UK, EU, or another region with its own data-protection law, the same commitments apply: we process the details you give us to reply to you and deliver work (our lawful basis is your request and our legitimate interest in running the business), and analytics runs only with your consent. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your information, and to withdraw consent, by emailing info@stackforgetech.com.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
